About Us

On April 1st 2006, more than 20 women attended a retreat to discuss the future of Alaska Women's Environmental Network (AWEN). This meeting resulted in the formation of committees, comprised of enthusiastic women who volunteered to make AWEN's mission a reality. The committees include: Board, Outreach, and Events.
